Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!!
Friday Oct. 31, 2008
Many people believe that Orbs are signs of paranormal activity...I however am not one of them. I think that they are signs of dust or other debris. The problem is, is that they are not as easily photographically explained away as that. I ran this photo through all sorts of tests and could not explain the ghostly images away. They produce no shadows, yet they reflect light. Through my research I have found that well over 98% of all orb photography, are photos taken with flash, usually on a point-and-shoot camera. This is crucial because the flash and lens are on the same axis, or in other words, in my opinion, Orbs are about the same a Red Eye. Or caused by the same science. I have yet to see an orb in a natural light photo, or a photo where the flash is "off camera".
With all that said, I cannot fully explain this photo. Elvis, and Jimi Hendrix were not in the attic with me. Neither did I see any balls of light floating around. I will post more, if Em and I end up buying the house. Until then...THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE! cue the x-files theme music.

Oct. 7, 2008 - A new batch of photos from the last few weeks.

Westerly, RI - The great New England feature photo of surfers in storms.
Montville - Yes, it was raining that hard.

Week in Review Aug. 26 - 30, 2008
Woodstock - A 4 year-old shows his discomfort with the idea of watching a cow give birth at the Barnyard Babies exhibit at the Woodstock Fair. The exhibit features Holstein cattle that are due to give birth at any moment.
East Hartford - UConn ends their warm up at sunset before their season opener against Hofstra Thursday Aug. 28th.
A UConn player emerges from a cloud of fire extinguisher exhaust as the team takes the field.
It was a bad night to be the Hofstra quarterback
Waterford - Back to school in Quaker Hill Tuesday Aug. 26th.
East Hartford - And finally, perhaps my favorite unpublished shot of the week...I guess this is what they mean by "Thank you for your service" as members of the Army color guard are shown appreciation by UConn fans as they watch the game.

Summer catch-up
Friday Aug. 15, 2008
Newport, RI - "He shoots, He Scores!" Well no, not really. It has been a crazy summer with little to no time to post, so here is the mid-year catch-up of photos that have been sitting on my desk top for weeks now. I am off to the woods next week, so I will be going dark again for at least a week. Enjoy.

Welcome to New London, now watch your head!
Saturday July 5, 2008
New London - New London has figured out a new way to deal with tourists...sticking them on the upper deck of a double-decker bus, and don't trim the trees! New London has seen an increase in cruise ships, and here are some passengers taking cover to avoid decapitation. Its not just a tour...its an adventure.
Newport, RI - Just an out-take from a night at the park.
Norwich - Here are two from the thunderstorms I got caught in this week. Hail and daytime lightning, you can't go wrong.

Found in Unity
Friday June 28, 2008Unity, NH - Okay, so this is over a week old now. Yes, I was part of the side show to the big show last week up in Unity. Highlights include a lack of water and transmitting photos during a thunderstorm. No one was hurt that I know of, and I had a good time. It beats high school graduations, that is for sure.
You do not need the sun for a sunburn when you have one of these spotlights right behind you.
